Even though I appear to be practically alone on this forum...

The special factions created for mission-related npcs ("confed_", "confed__", etc.) currently have no radio conversations. All their messages are just "..." or "<garbled>". The fix for this is simply to go into the communications folder, make a copy of the <faction name>.xml file (e.g. "confed.xml" for the "confed_" faction), and rename it to match the new faction (e.g. "confed_.xml"). Do this for every underscore faction and the problem is solved.

The PU people are almost down to chuck and me, but chuck has currently trouble with his computer, due to a ubuntu upgrade that went wrong. And I'm trying to finish my bachelor thesis, so I'm not as often here as I'd like to be.
